Working Projects

The Chase is Over:

Working Girl meets Pretty Woman's businessman and attracts a stalker along the way.

Young entrepreneur risks her father's inheritance to take her boutique recruitment company to a national level. Her campaign attracts a CEO, a driven business visionary, who likes that she works hard, but wants her to play hard, too. As the line between business and pleasure blurs, her guard lowers allowing a stalker to enter her life.
(This is a finished manuscript.)

Passion’s Race:

Up Close and Personal meets Million Dollar Baby with a happy ending.

A young business executive and amateur athlete is recruited to turn pro by a coach because of her passion and winning potential, but her passion and need to win could push her to pay the ultimate price when she faces a crisis that could cripple or kill her.
(This is a finished manuscript.)

Passion’s Promise:

From the time Parker Jade Madison could walk, she was immersed in a world of athletes. Dad coached the able-bodied athletes, too competitive an agenda for a little girl, but helping Mom coach the challenged group was fun. While some of Mom’s team wanted to compete, many simply wanted to learn to live life without limitations, and who better to teach them than PJ’s mother. PJ thought nothing of riding her bike along side the wheelchair guys, or helping the young girl who’d lost her hand get back into the swimming pool. She raced at the sidelines to encourage and support her friends, yet she never considered the strength and speed she gained along the way.

Her genetics and her upbringing could have opened doors into the world of endurance sports. She was the product of two elite athletes, grew up in a world most people dream about, but as a senior in high school, PJ has no desire to ever compete.

Then her mother asks for a special birthday present – she wants her husband and her daughter to race by her side in an Ironman. Will PJ give in and race just once to please her mom? If she does, will her results take her down a path she’s tried so hard to resist?

Mystical Connections:

Medium meets Michael with a chilling twist in destiny.

Young successful author challenges a hard-nosed journalist to tag along as she researches her next novel idea based on an old building she saw in a dream. When she uncovers history that rocks his beliefs and opens long buried wounds, will he see it as a mystical connection that drew them together?
(Polishing stage = brilliance!)

Heart’s Reunion:

Family. Three Generations. Choices made that alter the future or explain the past.
High school sweethearts, Kyle Emerson and Anna Sophia Chiaro-Scuro are reunited at the engagement party of their children; his daughter, her son. He’s single; she’s in an abusive marriage. When Kyle inherits his Mother’s estate, a house he never wishes to see again, he elicits Anna’s artistic abilities to refurbish it so he can put it on the market. As they breathe life back into the house, they both fall in love with it. Will their relationship take on new meaning as well?

Heart’s Choice:

First generation to make life altering choices.
Kyle’s mother, Brigitte Renee Carrier, a famous opera singer had something to hide. What was it? On the outside, she chose her career over family, leaving her son to be raised by a nanny – but did her choice go far beyond his understanding?

Heart’s Destiny:

Third generation to live with family choices.
Kyle’s daughter, Abby Emerson, breaks off her engagement with Vince for reasons only Vince understands. They end up becoming step-siblings when their parents marry. Does learning her grandmother’s secrets influence her future? Can she forgive her grandmother’s choices and find happiness on her own?

Lasko’s Legacy:

Jonathon Lasko, partner at PeopleChase Inc., loses his twenty year partner in a violent accident. How will his sun ever shine again in Ft. Lauderdale, FL?

Throwing himself into work, Jonathon is determined to land twenty new accounts in Drew’s honor by year end – but he never bargained for Chet Guthrie, a high powered CFO, at one of those firms. Chet questions every penny being spent with PeopleChase. Who is this Jonathon Lasko? When they meet, sparks fly – and they are not just monetary ones.
